Tashev Remote connects ChatGPT to your computer: read project files, make edits, run checks, work with Git and deploy to your own servers. Access is limited to the folders and actions you allow on the computer itself.

How it works

  1. Account

    Sign up with email and password.

  2. Agent

    Install the agent on your Mac with one command. It opens the browser for approval.

  3. Approve

    Approve the computer in your account. The link works once and expires in 5 minutes.

  4. ChatGPT

    Connect Tashev Remote in ChatGPT and sign in with the same account.

Secure by default

  • After installation the agent is read-only, and only for folders you explicitly allow.
  • File writes, terminal and SSH are enabled separately, on the computer itself.
  • SSH keys and passwords never leave the computer. ~/.ssh, .env files and keys are blocked.
  • The computer connects out over HTTPS: no port forwarding and no open tunnel.
  • Each account sees only its own devices. Disconnect a device in one click.
  • A lost connection never re-runs a command or deployment.

Good to know

  • Requests and results pass through remote.tashev.ru over HTTPS but are not end-to-end encrypted: the server can technically see them in transit. Content is not kept after delivery (2–7 minutes at most).
  • The computer must be on, awake and online.
  • Commands run with your macOS user permissions. Enable the terminal only for projects you trust.
